Under the Article 70 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, upon the NA deputies’ initiative on November 21 an extraordinary sitting of the National Assembly was convened by the initiator’s established agenda. At 12:00 appropriate number of deputies were not registered. Under item 5 of the Article 44 of the RA Law “NA Rules of Procedure”, the deputies’ registration continued for 3 hours, and during that period also necessary number of deputies were not registered. The NA Vice President Eduard Sharmazanov presiding over the sitting announced the sitting not held due to lack of quorum.
